My name is Peter Phillips and I am a retired engineer. My wife and I have been driving carriages for many years. I also compete in carriage driving trials of several disciplines.
I first came across Kutzmann Carriages when I took a trip to the continent in search of some new carriages for myself for pleasure and competition driving that would come up to the standards that I require.
I visited a number of factories with which I was not very impressed until I found Kutzmann’s. They impressed me with the quality of their work and the extent of their expertise. I was so impressed that I became their U.K. Agent and can now offer you their carriages to your specification delivered to your door.

The KUTZMANN company is a German family business which has 2 branches. Production is located in Gola Wasoska, they also have a store in Gora.
The owner and founder of the company, Simon together with his son Marek and the rest of the family manage the whole production process.
The company employs 25 to 30 people with an annual production of about 400 carriages a year.
Their carriages are exported worldwide and they even make carriages for the Amish in America.
The Factory
A full compliment of up-to-date machinery allows modern technology to be implemented. CNC machining, Powder Coating, Profile Cutting, Hydraulic Bending and pressing, MIG and TIG welding, Spring Tempering along with more traditional skills.
The Range of Carriages.
KUTZMANN produce two wheeler and four wheeler carriages for pleasure driving, competition, show and commercial activities.
The carriages are available in a range of sizes to suit from Minis, Shetlands and Welsh Section “A”s to Shire Horses.
Trade Conditions
Sale Conditions 1.Offers presented on the web and printed materials do not constitute an offer within the meaning of the law. The Company reserves the right to self-modification and improvement of the presented products. Therefore, despite the efforts photographs and other information presented on the website and printed materials may differ from the final product. 2. Orders shall be deemed complete upon deposit paid to the distributor. (Amount of the deposit shall be determined individually with the distributor.) 3. Transportation and delivery are determined individually with distributors. All carriages must be fully paid for before they leave the premises of Kutzmann Carriages UK. Time for the production and delivery to the distributor is about 8 weeks. 4. All bolts and fastenings should be checked for tightness before use.
5. Purchase of the carriage denotes agreement to sale conditions and terms and conditions and warranty from Kutzmann. * The long complex process of delivery, may run into unforeseen problems such as bad weather conditions, accidents, etc., over which neither the Kutzmann company nor the logistics company have any control. In such cases, there may be delays.
Guarantee Terms: 1.The KUTZMANN s.c. company gives a 2 years guarantee to the original purchaser on new carriages only. This is not transferable. 2.KUTZMANN ensure that all materials and workmanship are of the highest quality and it is a condition of use that the product will only be used for the purpose for which it was designed. Product must be used in accordance with the guidelines of the guarantee, technical description and users manual. 3.During the period of the guarantee any fault or defect in materials will be repaired free of charge through the selling agent. Any parts that require replacing will be replaced as per the original 4.The ‘Agent’ will ensure that the carriage is in full working order and ready for the purpose for which it was designed. 5.It is a binding rule that the purchaser is solely responsible to maintain the carriage as laid out in the `users manual and safety guidelines’. 6.The guarantee does not cover accidental damage, wear and tear, or defects that occur through improper use and maintenance. 7.The guarantee does not cover tyres (pneumatic or hard), bearings, lights, brake pads, shoes and other consumable components used on vehicles. 8.Neither maintenance nor wear and tear is covered by this guarantee. 9.This guarantee is voided by: the end of the guarantee period; any repairs carried out by or on behalf of the purchaser; any changes in the construction of the carriage; the failure to comply with the ‘users manual and guarantee guidelines’. 10.In the event of a fault or defect covered by this guarantee the manufacturer will only replace like for like. The carriage will not be replaced ‘old for new’ under any circumstances. 11.The guarantee is only valid if it carries the Manufacturers or selling agents invoice and date of purchase. 12.It is the responsibility of the purchaser/owner of the carriage to return it to the selling agent for any repairs. It is the purchaser/owners responsibility to collect the carriage when work has been completed. In case of guarantee repair the customer has to bring the carriage or part of it to the selling agent or Kutzmann company. The agent or Kutzmann will not cover any transport cost. 13. Agent – selling point is responsible for initial service and all guarantee works. 15.To consider your guarantee repair it is necessity to send details of the fault with photos to your agent. 16. In case of repair that has to be done by customer. Customer is obliged to receive permission from selling agent. Any repairs done without written permission from agent will not be considered.
